Bottle conditioned. Almost clear mid amber with a quickly receding head.
A sweet, smoky malt aroma with indications of hops present which is then reflected in the taste.
Quite a smooth carbonated feel. Medium to full bodied.
Rather unexpectedly this wasn't too bad at all. The conditioning helped.
Apparently the malt was roasted over oak wood.
