Picked up a crowler at the brewery. Pours a medium brown color, dense enough that little light gets through. Produces a medium size tan head with average retention and little in the way of lacing. Smell was the weakest part, very mild aroma of roasted malt. Decent flavor, roasted malt and plenty of coffee - the flavor is robust. Mouthfeel is moderately rich, not too sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. I had half of it with chips and salsa and the other half the next day with dinner. A nice complement for both occasions
