I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle sweet malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with nice malt base and good finishing hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Picked up a crowler at the brewery. Pours a fairly clear copper color with an antique white/cream colored head. Good lacing and retention. Beautiful color!!! Aroma and taste include a good level of maltiness, caramel and a floral/toffee type presence. Tastes good and is not too sweet like some Red Ales. Solid mouthfeel, a rich-enough-for-the-style malty beer. This one is a winner, a bit too strong for a session beer, but worth having two of them while out!!!
