Taster at brewery. Pale hazy golden pour, scant head. Fruity, juicy aroma follows through to the taste. Sweet with bitter notes. Damn smooth for a DIPA

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had citrus peel and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and bitter fruit and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

An Imperial IPA in strength, looks and tastes like a NE IPA. Pours a hazy straw yellow color from a 32 oz crowler into a pint glass. Medium size foamy white head with average retention. Thick wide bands of lacing that last a long time. Aroma is fairly mild - some bitterness and tropical fruit. Taste is more pronounced. Moderately bitter, some balancing malt and tropical fruit. This may be named "F-Bomb" but the beer is no hop bomb. A fairly mild DIPA in terms of bitterness. Mouthfeel is moderately bitter and rich for the style. A good DIPA but nothing outstanding!!! There are a lot of more hoppy and interesting DIPAs out there.
