My first beer from this brewery. Picked up a crowler today and wound up drinking the whole thing with a crab legs dinner. Poured into an Aventinus Weizen glass, a hazy straw yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head. Aroma and taste of lemon and some wheat bitterness. The aroma is fairly mild while the taste is pretty robust. This is a fairly un-complex hefe. Not a lot of the "bubblegum" and cloves type flavors. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth with a touch of wheat bitterness but none of the astringency of more complex brews of this type. I still liked it. Tasty and refreshing, just not top-shelf hefe.
