Octane NE IPA w/Sabro

A really good NE IPA!! Bought a crowler at the brewery. Pours a dull honey yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head. Head retention is very good and there is lots of lacing that forms a veil all down the pint glass. Aroma is mild - a little tropical fruit. Taste is much stronger. A lot of NE IPA's have mild flavors with a lot of pineapple and very light bitterness, I don't know much about Sabro hops but supposedly features tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit, and stone fruit aromas. The flavor was tropical fruit but more pungent and less sweet than pineapple!!! The level of bitterness is a lot better than many NE IPAs. Mouthfeel is good based on richness, sharp tasting fruit, and bitterness. I enjoyed this beer more than most NE IPA's I have tried recently. I liked this beer very much and would like to see it featured in local restaurants like O'Connor's El Guapo.
