look: big head on the poor, dissipating reasonably quick, small layer of bubbles remain throughout, beer is a hazy golden to yellow colour with only a few bubbles racing within it.
smell: biscuity earthy grassy malt smells like you’d expect from the style, but also a fruity sweetness to it, getting a good bit of orange, some pear and white grape.
taste: really earthy and grassy, bready and biscuity, little bit of spice, not as sweet as the smell, some bitterness on the finish, pretty textbook helles, just maybe lacking somewhat in the strength of the flavour.
feel: refreshing as you like, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation really crisp and dry finish.
overall: the best irish attempt at a helles i’ve ever tried, impressed by this beer, picked up their hefeweizen which i look forward to trying even more now, good stuff.

Served in a plastic cup from the cafe with fantastic ambience just outside the Monastic site at Glendalough.
Bready crackery malt light floral spicy hop aroma and flavor. Pretty nice lager.
