Kilkenny's Curse has a medium, cream-colored head, and a clear, rust-red appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of brown bread crust. The flavor is of that element, with tannins. Sweetness and bitterness are relatively low. Kilkenny's Curse has a medium body and a dry finish.

Tap pour in a pint glass at Blue Canoe in Tupelo.
Dark amber colored body. Thin tan head. Leaves behind partial horizontal lacing rings.
Aroma is malty with a metallic touch.
Taste is dark roasted sweet malt. Has a metallic edge, but also smooth. Same continues in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Sharp but smooth. Good carbonation.
Bright malty goodness.

I'm thinking more of a brown ale than an Irish Red. Had it on tap and from the can. Better on tap. IMO
