This festive lager is what you'd expect to find within the boisterous Oktoberfest tents in Munich these days. Our Festbier is a pale beer that lovingly offers up toasty, biscuit malt-forward notes with a bright and crisp finish.

Had at Key City brewpub, Vicksburg, on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours light gold with clarity and 1 and 1/2-finger off-white head, which slowly dissipates to a persistent ring, and leaves a few specks of lace. A little biscuit malt and some Noble hop spice aroma off pour, soon joined by a little tart, wangy peach (maybe an off aroma). Begins nicely malty over mild carbonation, then a bit of that peachy wang, and a little hop spice, leading into a somewhat crisp but also a bit sticky finish.
Not a bad festbier, if a bit sticky and perhaps a bit off from the brewer's intent, especially in the aroma.
