(Brewed for the Coop chain of stores)
Pours with a nice blooming pure white head that is definitely a bit fluffy and it actually holds pretty well. Very hazy orange-yellow color that is a touch darker than usual, looks like a proper hefe.
Malt sweetness shows up in the nose first; then onto some fainter yeastiness; citrusy and slight hints of banana. Not bad at all, but not overwhelmingly great or anything. Citrusy at first in the flavor, and has some bready yeastiness; catch the banana in the aftertaste. However, caught some metallic notes that prevent a refreshing and this needs cleaned up or to be cared for better. Fluffier medium body with soft carbonation. Could be a bit more of everything to be a good hefe, but nothing terrible either. Not bad drinking, but not great.
