Poured at fridge temp. Pours an opaque orange with a minimal amount of white head. The nose is a lovely mixture of caramel candy and hops. Pine needles, leather, malts, lemon,
The taste is really nice. Honey, pine, orange, lemon, caramel, grass, biscuits, and a bit of maple.
This doesn't taste anything close to 14% ABV. If you told me it was 7% I would believe you. Impressive. Nicely integrated flavors. Great barleywine!
