Larnaka 19/7 2017. 50 cl bottle with pullstring cap from Minimarket in North Nicosia. Dynamic looking label with a great "X" to remind me that I get some extra ABV for my money.
Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is fairly intense with a tart citric odor mingling with a metallic scent of alcohol. Sour, tart citrus fruit, slightly metallic alcohol and a sharp whiff of grains. A bit harsh.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly boozy and sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is metallinc.
A bit too sweet for my taste but a nice surprise to encounter a Turkish beer with a healthy ABV.

Poured in a glass color light yellow, some lace and some carbonation, small white head.
Smells like malt and the alcohol overpowers it. It tastes a not bitter at all, kind of sweet with malty tones, and the alcohol is very noticeable. Enjoyable, but I prefer to drink it slowly

Little 20 cl mini can poured into a hotel room paper cup, in Istanbul, Turkiye.
A sickingly sweet malt liquor that’s yuck, just yuck. Still, it’s the strongest ‘beer’ available, and if you find yourself in a room with AC on a July evening and don’t drink vodka or wine.,. try not to complain a lot.
