Kizilkecili 15/4 2025. 50 cl can from beer and alcohol store in Akcay. German-looking can with a soaring Raptor and Bremen in white Capital letters. Red version of the ordinary Bremen 1827 beer can.
Pours clear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with metallic alcohol and a whiff of sour grains. Sweet pale malts, bread and sharp alcohol. A bit metallic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, Soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and metallic.
More a Imperial Lager than a English Strong Ale.
