Pours black in the glass with a reasonable sized beige head. The smell is mocha. The taste is a mixture of coffee grounds and chocolate syrup. A nice balance of the beer, chocolate and coffee flavours. Mouthfeel is a bit flat, not totally but a bit

Got this one from hopsolutely this past summer. Cheers!
From a 500ml bottle into a pint glass
Bottled 27 March 2019
Stout with coffee and cocoa
APPEARANCE: A clear dark brown pour yields a 2+ finger, medium looking, foamy, light brown head with good retention. Black body with touches of carbonation. Head slowly recedes to a thick, foamy cap and clings to the glass. A slight wisp remains leaving decent lacing on the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Coffee aromas, roasted notes, with milk chocolate and vanilla cream as well. Medium strength.
TASTE: Roasted coffee flavors, some milk chocolaty sweetness, with some roasted and burnt malts at the swallow. A medium finish of roasted malts, milk chocolate and vanilla cream, with some burnt flavors and coffee bitterness lingers on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. A bit light on the palate, goes down okay and finishes a bit dry.
OVERALL: Not bad. It’s got some good stuff going on but it’s not quite bold and forthcoming enough to really be top notch. Decent enough but not necessarily memorable. Cheers again, guys!
