somewhat of a hybrid between an american blonde and a belgian golden or something, as there is definitely some yeast character to this, some esters, some fruitiness, and quite a bit more body and overall rawness than we usually see in a blonde ale of any persuasion, some cleaning up might be needed here, but i think they are onto something with this, and its nice to see a young brewery taking chances and finding their identity so early, cant be too critical here. subtle pear and orange notes to this, a definite belgian element in the aroma and flavor, soft green banana and spices too, and an almost witbier complexion with the fuller, earthy body. this isnt quite as dry and drinkable and refreshing as the flavors are, but i like it on the more robust side of the line. some hops at the end too, which gives it that american flare, not quite juicy, but a fruitiness that is really complimentary with the yeast in here, citrus and lemongrass rise up. ill look forward to drinking this one again after they have had some time to get it fully dialed in, i think its off to a great start!
