32oz crowler from Growler Guys. Medium to dark golden color, fizzy head, leaves glass clean. I was spoiled living in Germany with world class weizens, so I'm pretty hard on any American renditions of the style. Aroma is mostly bready malts with a hint of the weizen yeast. Taste follows, yeast a bit more prevalent. Some out of place dryness, a bit too sweet, trace of metallic notes at the finish and a weak head are all knocks against this. Points for trying.
