Taster at brewery. Black pour, soapy beige head. Sweet, roasty malt aroma, coffee notes. Taste is bitter and dark, burnt toast, coffee grounds, hint of chocolate.

On-tap at the brewery in Nampa. Pours very nearly opaque black with a moderate cap of khaki head that laces well. Love the roasty, earthy character coming from this one, very hoppy too...earthy, slightly spicy hops with notes of citrus rind and pine, balanced with some coffee and dark chocolate. Delicious, would drink a gain, a nice winter warmer.
