On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy amber transparent color with a slight carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace. Nice sustaining finger's worth of white foamy head sliding off at a fair pace. Sliding lace with the sips.
The aroma had a wonderful zesty lemon rind rolling over some lime and a little bit of hop spice. Sly grassiness on the back end.
The flavor leaned towards the zesty to lemon hoppy spiced sort of blend with a superb citrusy meshed aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a spectacular sessionability. Carbonation and ABV felt on par. Then the finish is exceptionally well crafted with a clean semi-spicy harshness speckling the lemon rind-like bitterness.
Overall, wow! This is definitely Switchback's best IPA to date and absolutely worthy of having again. Please can or bottle this, Switchback!
