On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a pale glossy bright yellow color with a mostly opaque thickness to it. Slowly dissipating finger's worth of white foamy head. Barely any lace.
The aroma had a ton of sour-ed wheat up front. Then the some light tones of lemon with an even lighter touch of sweetness. Light grassiness on the back end.
The flavor starts with the sour-ed wheat that leads to a really spectacular tart wheatiness. Then meshes finely together in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a superb sessionability about it. And that's how a wonderful sessionability about a Berliner weisse should be. ABV and carbonation felt fine. Smooth tart wheaty kick. The finish is quick and tart and wheaty.
Overall, damn nice Berliner weisse that I would love to have again.
