Sampling as part of a flight.
Pours a clear, bright gold with a full frothy head.
Some hints of pine, toffee.
Good mouth feel.
Bright, sweet taste, hints of toffee, pine resin. Not very bitter.

Very interesting "Experimental Imperial IPA by Switchback. This is not "the normal stuff"! Tangerine bitter- and sweetness at the same time. Solid malt backbone and enough stringend hops to balance out.

Can. Gold almost clear (I decant) with ring and island and lace. Tangerine aroma with honey grain and peach. Medium-heavy sweetness but not cloying with toasted cereal and some peach and orange candy. Medium citrus and herbal bitterness in fairly long finish. Full body lively to accentuate the hops but not fizzy. Well made but not my favorite flavors.
