Pours clear, chestnut in color with one inch head. Taste is brown bread, leather and roasted malt. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Nice, above average, but not mind blowing version of the style.

On tap at Zig Zag's Bar in Lake Placid, NY.
This one pours a slightly murky golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like caramel, chocolate, and sweet breadiness.
This is pretty solid stuff - a bit too sweet stylistically, but tasty enough that I don't care too much about it. There's a nice creamy flavor, with some light cocoa powder, caramel, and a pleasant breadiness.
This is light bodied, creamy, and pretty drinkable.
This really isn't all that traditionally-styled when it comes to the dunkel style. Luckily, it's still pretty tasty stuff.
