Appearance is gold colored with a thin layer of white foam. Not much for head retention. Slightly hazy.
Aroma of grapefruit citrus. Classic cascade hop aroma. Subtle light malt aroma.
Vibrant grapefruit coming through. Light malt flavor. Finishes on the dry end with a bitter bite.
Mouthfeel of a normal carbonation. Medium low body. Finishes slightly astringent, with a harsh bitterness.
Well, drinking this beer in 2020 makes me think of some of the hoppy beers of yore. Cascade hops and some other citrus hops are the main flavor profile. The malt is fairly straightforward and typical. The glass was served filled to the brim as there is no head present. Harsh bitterness at the finish kinda makes this a so-so IPA. I am reminded of how tasty cascade hops are, thanks.
