This intensely dank and resinous IPA is a throwback to pre “haze craze”. We picked some resinous hops and double dry hopped them to produce big notes of sticky pine sap, pine needles, grapefruit and orange rind mixed with black pepper, grassy, herbal and earthy notes. It’s complex, it’s pungent, it’s old skool…it’s dank. Intentionally.

Appearance - Pours a cloudy straw gold with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, piney, earthy, leafy, and floral hops, pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, piney, earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The pine resin comes through next alongside the grapefruit and citrus peel. The caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky from the hops with the pine resin and grapefruit peel lingering.
Overall - A pleasant pine and citrus forward IPA. I wish this just had a touch more pine resin but other than that another exemplary IPA from Valley.
