Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival 1 finger of mildly off white, fine, head was present on top of a darker brown body with some haze.
Aroma is very sweet and floral showcasing the honey right away. There is some decent toasted darker malts. A bit overly sweet smelling.
Taste is less sweet and brings a more brown ale type flavor with bready nutty toast and a fruity, floral flavor in the back.
Feel is following the trend of this brewer's beers, with long and malty, but dry finishes, as well as a crisp easy drinking, but slightly heavy feel.
