Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival 1 finger of off white head with average retention sat on top of a deep brown to amber, nearly clear body.
Aroma is immediately caramelized and crackery. Smell definitely reminds me of a dessert of some sort, without all of the sweetness. A bit strange, but inviting.
Taste is much more clean than the aroma. Some of that caramel toast and toffee flavors come through before a sweet, malty, crisp finish.
Feel is a full bodied and malty with a bit of extra mouth coating. Easy drinking but I could see this getting heavy if you kept ordering more of these.
Overall this is a very unique beer and the caramel notes mingle nicely to make for a solid and very interesting beer.
