Had at the brewery.
On arrival 1 finger of fine khaki head, on top of a nearly pure black body.
Aroma is soft and sweet, but also carries some English fruity yeast qualities. Very chocolatey.
Flavor is a bit fruitier than the aroma suggests with a more bitter roasty flavor coming through, while maintaining some of the sweetness. Maybe some slight oxidation so if like age on your stout you'd like this.
Feel is dry in the finish but a full maltiness envelops you palate with each sip. Finish is long and full.
Overall this is super solid for being the only brewery in town, good malt balance, and pretty clean.
