Star Damage is a blend of two beers that were treated very differently and came together to complement one another. One component of the blend was fermented in stainless with our house yeast and a secondary pitch of Brett and aged on blood orange. After aging the beer was then dry hopped with Amarillo to complement the blood orange. The other component is a barrel fermented golden sour that had a Kolsch ale yeast and Lacto blend pitched. The resulting blend is a refreshing and bright golden sour that is citrus forward with balanced tartness.
