Poured pale gold and translucent like it was unfiltered. The off white head was brief and left sparse lacing.
The taste was quite good for the style, a little noble hops and dry citrus notes with light biscuit malts and some floral notes that kind of tie it together.
The feel is eminently quaffable, downright crushable.
OA, good beer, glad I could try it.

my favorite beer we had in here, a solid base kolsch with orange in it. i thought at first the name was suggesting mandarina hops, but its obviously citrus loaded, maybe both, but i didnt find this to be particularly hoppy. really a perfect summer beer, with the citrus driving the flavor, but some cool fruitiness from the kolsch yeast popping in and out, a dry cereal grain base thats nice and fresh supporting that, and a quick refreshing finish. all the elements are right. the orange smells and tastes very natural, the essence of the fruit, and its not overdone in here, it doesnt need to be in such a light beer, it still stands out nicely. simple crackery malt base, not much there, and not really as obviously german or old worldy as they best kolsch types out there, but it does its job. good carbonation keeps it light too, and the freshness of the whole thing makes it sexy. i liked all three beers we had in here, but this is the one i would keep in my fridge. nicely done, its cool to see the beer scene blowing up in salt lake and ogden, these guys fit in well!
