a well enough executed pils here, quite basic, one of the few super light beer flavored beers they make in here, in addition to their golden ale. i liked this one a little better, its crisper, drier, and has some yeast character so its not all one dimensional pale malt, i even get a little noble hop bite on the finish, although this is a far cry from being what i would call a hoppy pils by current standards. its pale looking, short white headed, and bubbly enough to be easy drinking. the flavors are rather european to me, but the level of refinement isnt at the level of the best imports, but things do taste fresh here, and like their golden ale, this works quite well with the robustly flavored food in here, the wing sandwich, the philly, that sort of thing, and it pleased me in that context. maybe not captivating enough for all day drinking, at least for me, but its light enough for that purpose if this is your thing. light on the yeast but i can still taste it, nice snappy finish, light but good. not a standout here, but rather professionally done overall.
