Had on tap. More on the bready side of oktberfests in both smell and taste, caramel and toast there too, but then the taste has a decent grainy hopiness to the finish. Pours clean and classic dark amber. Feel is a little on the watery side and basically is weak malt until the hops bring something interesting. Not a great marzen, balance seems off from the get go

Had this on tap at the brewery. Had to categorize this as a German Märzen / Oktoberfest but it's really a Festbier. That being said the look was more like a Märzen as it was darker in color. The aroma was bready malt and their was a subtle sweetness about the taste. This was a good beer.
