A dark and delicious porter brewed with cocoa powder and orange peel, then aged on pureed oranges. These two classic flavours work together to bring a hint of sweet orange and prominent dark chocolate richness. Providing a balanced and beautiful drinking experience, this porter is perfect for a fireside chat, to complement a meal, or to slide in anywhere a stout might find itself.

Dark black with a modest head. Pure orange nose, very fresh. Medium body with rich chocolate notes and some orange rind. Good crispness, higher ABV not in evidence.
There is also a Paint It Black version 5.5% ABV. Cocoa powder but no orange. Reviewed January 25, 2021.
