Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, fruit and dank hops, mixed tropical fruit, green pepper and a touch of pine and dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and fruit hops, grapefruit, lemon, mild mixed tropical fruit and a little dankness in the finish which has a medium bitterness; enough to keep my interest. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I have been ambivalent about New Zealand hops in the past as they lean to lower bitterness and fruit juice character, but I liked the hop bill in this one. Not that complex, but some hints of mixed fruit, pine and catty dankness in the background. The bitterness seems moderate at first, but has a nice citrus rind kick in the finish. Not sure this will win me over to southern hops, but I'm enjoying this one.

Brewer describes this as a New Zealand IPA, which is also a new category for GABF. Pours a clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the nonic. Intense armoa of melon and pineapple. Some malty flavors along with the barky bit of astringency. Long taste of tangy fruit with bitter grapefruit peel for the finish.
Overall this is a very drinkable and flavorful hoppy brew. It's a more friendly sort of hop experience with moderate bitterness and a clean taste. From the 16 oz can purchased-- I have no idea, and it's a new brewery to me. Canned 12/13/21.
