This a great beer. It's very bready in taste, moreso than the feel which is a bit underwhelming. It has a slight sweet taste to it, but it's not overpowering at all and compliments the drink quite nicely. I paired it with thin crust pizza and it suited the dish quite nicely. I'll be looking forward to grabbing this one again.

Pours a chill hazed gold with 2+ fingers of cream-colored head. Minimal head retention & lacy
S: Bready & pears
T: Follows the nose, plenty of leafy hops, a bit of honey malt as well up front. Pears, white grapes, & green melon plus bready sweetness, some grainy & grassy bitterness once warmed up, some yeasty notes as well. Finishes fruity, bready & and a little dry with leafy & grassy bitterness
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation
I'd probably rate this slightly higher as a bock as opposed to a Doppel. Drinks alright, but this is certainty a one & done. My first homebrew attempt at this style was better than this. It is entirely possible room temperature storage & mystery dating code did this in

This is a delight. When I don’t know what I want I reach for this and am always happy. Nice yellow orange color. Smell of sweet bread, vanilla and honey. Very pleasant. The taste is not as sweet as you would expect. Not complex or layered just a nice balanced honeyed subdued sweetness. Nice full mouthfeel. Bravo!!

From Belgian Style Ales, lot 1730.
Pours a mostly clear orange with a healthy sized head of foam, with very good lacing and retention.
Smell is malty, bready, sweet, little bit of grain, no obvious bitterness.
The taste is sweetish, malty, bready, light grain, tasty example of the style.
Medium bodied, good level of carbonation, this is very good and I would drink this again.

Clear, amber color. One-finger thick, white head. Malt, dried fruits, and grain in the aroma. Malty but not overly sweet taste. Decent. A big surprise, to be honest.

Pours a frothy foamy 1 finger head with good retention, soapy lacing, slight hazy semi clear golden tan color
Nose brings more of the Eastern Euro malt extract, but also some biscuity cereal grain, a touch of a fruity note
Taste brings rich malt, biscuity cereal malt, a bit of the Eastern Euro malt extract, a little fruity esters, a little phenol notes and alcohol, sweet sugary malt, semi sweet finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med carb
Overall eh, this one was not quite on par

This is quite an obscure doppelbock it's lighter in color very sweet and bready and surprisingly when it was cold I got a strong bitterness but as it sits in the glass I realize it's a typical peat flavor which rounds out better as the beer warms up. It's fairly smooth almost like buttered bread but there's enough bitterness in the finish to keep for repeated sips. Quite good not going to lie and I honestly can't say I've had too many beers from Ukraine

This one pours a light orange-ish color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like bready malt, honey, something almost vanilla like, and caramel.
This is much lighter looking than I’m used to with a doppelbock. There’s much less toasty breadiness or dark fruit here – it’s more caramel and honey. There’s no hop character, but an odd but not unpleasant creamy sweetness on the back end.
This is light bodied, much lighter than a typical doppelbock, with a good drinkability.
I believe this is the first Ukranian beer I’ve ever had. It’s decent, but I’ve certainly had better versions of the style.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy golden amber color with a very nice large, thick white head. The nose gets some bready malt - a friend noted that they just needed some butter for the bread. The mouth gets a sweetish smooth malty brew. Very nice!
Note: While they call it a "Doppelbock" it is more of a "Bock" due to it's strength...

a: golden amber color with some slight chill haze and burnt orange notes towards the top. poured a 3-4 finger solid white head
s: rich caramel notes with a faint earthy sweetness. sweet grains and a hint of grass and noble hoppy-like aromas. nothing really beyond that; not too complex, but a nice rich malty aroma
t: follows the nose pretty close. super-rich caramel and sweet grains dominate. a faint earthy herbal note that gives some balance, but does not in any way come to the forefront. big crusty bready notes behind that. there is a really nice lager crispness in here as well that prevents this from becoming too sweet
m: medium mouthfeel, a bit sticky with low-moderate carbonation
o: honestly, this is really nice for the style. super malty, but not overly done

Pours far more golden and light than I expected. The head is moderate and dissipates readily.
The nose is malt, sweet pastry, and some spice.
The taste follows the nose faithfully, doughy and sweet, with some floral spice.
Mouthfeel is full. Carbonation, though, is not high.
This is a good beer and reasonably priced in my market. It is certainly worth a try.
