Purchased as a 12oz draft pour at The 2nd Act for $6. Poured into a pint glass.
L - Clear dark amber, with a one-finger off-white head. Head dissipates quickly, with leaves amazing lacing.
S - Sourdough bread crust, toffee, fresh lemongrass.
T - Brown bread. Herbal. Earth. Toffee. Superbly balanced. Dry.
F - Medium-light in body, with mild carbonation. Super drinkable. Clean. Refreshing.
O - Like a Yuengling 2.0. Can't speak on the complexity or any depth to the flavor, but the flavor & aroma it has is a fantastic mark of the style. I would consider this the bar for any Amber/Red Ale. Definitely getting this one again - this is a fantastic thing to bring to a grill party. Worth a try for sure.
