Pours a hazy, deep golden amber coloration with a large, fluffy, lasting head. Smell is quite subdued, with only faint hints of biscuity malt and citrus fruits. Tastes of light biscuity malt and somewhat floral, citrus hops: grapefruit, lime peel, with a certain, harsh raw hop aftertaste. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some raw hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation.
This isn't great even for a Session IPA, with the hops feeling harsh, raw and chalky, developing only very little pleasant citrus flavor. The light body and mouthfeel is to be expected for the style, but doesn't help matters much.
