A strong pour released two fingers of tan creamy foam with long retention and spots of lace.
Cloudy dark brown with reddish-brown highlights, semi-opaque.
Bread greets the nose as fresh baked sourdough, toasted wheat and rising dough with toffee and milk chocolate.
Very faint herbal hops, a hint of smoke yet no roasted smell.
Neutral (at first) with mild bitterness from faint roasted malt, caramel and crystal malts are in play. Baked pear, apple and fig flavor appears without being fruity. Just the lightest taste of coffee arrives at the semi-dry finish as bitterness rises to average and lingers as warm spice.
Medium light bodied with soft lasting carbonation, smooth and well balanced. Alcohol is well hidden, as this Beer warms so does the alcohol. True to style and brewery fresh.
