Poured from 16oz can into a tumbler.
Appearance: golden hue with a clear body and a thin layer of foam atop.
Smell: sweet with a bit of caramel aroma but also some unwelcome adjunct-y character.
Taste: quite light flavor with some graininess and some caramel and, again, uninspiring adjunct character.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and okay creaminess.
Overall: this is less offensive than other Tecate beers I’ve had, but that’s not an especially high bar.

Look is so much better than taste, compared with XX ambar, this beer is way more watered and tasteless. In general if you can't find xx ambar and you want something similar, this is the cheaper and tasteless version, at least in Mexico.
