This brewery was new to me, and a surprise to find a draft beer from a small rural Welsh brewery on sale in Notting Hill.
The below from memory:
L- Rich dark brown, slightly cloudy, poured with a generous tan head.
S- Toasty with malts.
T- Really nice, broad deeper flavour than a regular 'lager'. Zero out of place.
F- Quite punchy, the 6.5% showed itself quite clearly, but it wasn't heavy at all, it went down a treat on a cool and rainy summer's day.
O- Lovely beer, bravo to the brewery, and to the pub too for giving this gem a chance to shine. I'll return to the pub specifically for this pint!
Enjoyed at the Sun in Splendour at 7 Portobello Road, London W11.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
