This beer pours a dark red color. The beer produces a 1 finger, off white (red) head. This head isn't too long lasting, and there's no lacing on the glass.
The nose is a nice malt/bread/biscuit aroma, which is pleasing, though not too strong.
Taste - Well, as expected, there's a nice malty, bread, biscuit flavor going on here from the malts. What wasn't expected was a nice smoke flavor to the beer from the malts that must have been smoked a bit.
The body is a good for the style.
This is not bad at all. A pleasure to try.
