Wet Hopped Black Ale

I tried this beer off the tapper at the Brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had good dark malt notes and bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was dark malt base and bitter pine hop highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
