Though not technically a NEIPA, this mildly hazy IPA still carries the tropical flavors of it's thicker cousins (Wrench, Torque Wrench.) The ABV is high for a single IPA, though not quite a double. Still, it goes down smoothly and feels borderline sessionable.

If you give your beer such a presumptuous name it better be good. And it is. Yes I know that it follows a theme that Industrial Arts has, but I assume they saved this on for their best.
Poured to a nonic from a can dated 6/6/18. Hazy but not opaque. Medium head that fades kind of quickly.
Citrus rind aroma, some melon.
Taste is a progression. Melon start, citrus rind middle, dry hop notes in the finish. Alcohol is masked.
Mouth feel is also time dependent. Cream start, thins out to the dry hop end.
Really good beer.

L: Golden, amber, hazy. Two-fingers of head.
S: Herbs, pine and citrus. Definitely a strong, pleasant aroma.
T: Big, crisp taste. Juicy, citrus (tangerine, grapefruit?) flavors take over.
F: Smooth, coats the mouth.
O: I recommend other, lower ABV Industrial Arts beers (Safety Glasses, Tools of the Trade) over this, but this AIPA is an fun experiment, evolving from batch to batch, so I go back to it often. This review is of SotA batch #152

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
