Poured from crowler into Industrial Arts pint glass. It pours a clear, golden-amber with one finger of bright white head and lacing. It smells of grapefruit, lemon peel, pine needles, and floral hops. The taste opens with a a solid malt base followed by the citrus and a blast of bitter, biting hops. The tastes and well-balanced. It features lively carbonation and, at 8.2% ABV, this DIPA is substantive but not overwhelming. Overall, it is a well-crafted and brewed DIPA and I really enjoyed it. I'm anxious for Industrial Arts to can it.

Crowler filled at the brewery on 1/28. Pours a light caramel color and crystal clear. Nice head, perfect carbonation. Like the other pale ales I've had from Industrial Arts, this one is understated, especially for a double IPA. This was my least favorite of the ones I've tried, but still a very well-made, solid beer.

32oz growler from Whole Foods. Pours a clear brownish orange and almost no head. Good amount of lacing. The aroma is sweet pine with some citrus hops. Spicy hop notes as well. The taste is peppery and spicy hops with some tangerine and orange peel. Some pine comes out towards the end with more pepper and spicy hops. Bell pepper finish with an herbal hop aftertaste. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Mild alcohol presence. Overall, good not great.

I stopped by the brewery for the first time last night and this was the first brew I tried. A solid DIPA that I would certainly drink again though they had several better offerings. Tasty brew but a little bland. Not much aroma wise. There's nothing bad about this brew but nothing special either. I did really enjoy the overall brewery experience and will def be back.

A: The beer is relatively clear amber yellow in color and has a faint amount of visible carbonation. It poured with just a few bubbles floating on the surface that faded away, leaving only a razor thin collar around the edge and some specks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of orange citrus piney hops are present in the nose along with bits of spicy hops.
T: The taste generally follows the smell, except that there are more flavors of spicy hops and less of the piney hops. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness; the finish has some hints of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The hop flavors and aromas aren't as potent compared to some of the other Imperial IPAs, but they do present an interesting and unique combination of aromas and flavors. The beer isn't that difficult to drink considering the strength.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear orangeish amber color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like pine, peppery grapefruit, spicy hops, and orange peel.
This tastes pretty great. It's quite bitter with a nice spiciness, earthy and slightly herbal. There's a little bit of sweetness, with some orange jam sorta flavors, and just a hint of malt.
This is crisp, and slightly juicy mouthfeel-wise, with a good level of carbonation.
Chief knows IPAs.
