Collaboration with Threes Brewing
Brewed with our siblings from Threes Brewing! This classic, raw German-style lager is all you really need. Timelessly floral in that old world way with just enough maltiness to keep it compelling.

Pint pour at the brewery. It pours a clear, bright golden color with a large, foamy, bright white head and lacing. The smell is subdued - mostly biscuit and grass. Its taste features toast and grain with a mild finish. It's light and crisp with pleasant carbonation, and its 5% ABV is barely noticeable. Overall, it's always nice to find a Zwickelbier on draught and Prior Restraint is a good showing but it's not at the level of the leaders of the style.

Good to see American Brewers making Kellerbiers once in a while but sometimes it's best to leave it to the Germans. On the nose just get a bunch of grains but that's not the worst part. This tastes like a hybrid between a Lager (good) and a hoppy mess (bad). It's way to hoppy for the style and comes across as a poorly done homebrew.
I give them an A for attempting to make a Kellerbier but a D for what this turned out be. Why experiment with sharp hops on a Keller? Save that for your hop program.
