L: Coppery in color with unfiltered appearance. 2 fingers of head on the pour which dissipated quickly, leaving pleasing amounts of residual lacing.
S: Very florally but with a pronounced malty breadyness. Mild citrus aromas as well, but the malts and floral aromas just don't smell all that great. It is rather fragrant, for what it is.
T: It is alright but not my cup of tea. Hibiscus flavor is detectible giving a nice floral flavor, but the malts over power derailing the balance of the flavor. Old school hop finish.
F: Nice feel. Light in body, medium in weight with no booze bite. Moderate carbonation levels.
O: It is a decent brew overall, but nothing I would revisit. I am grateful to try. Cheers!

16 oz. Can
PKG: 30AUG18

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy dark orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, papaya), hibiscus. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, papaya), hibiscus, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. Glad to see it around here.

Canned
L: Amber, clear. No lacing, quick dissipating head.
S: Fruit. Floral. Sort of mushy.
T: Fruity ..berries. Fairly sweet. Balances on the edge of tartness, but not sour.
F: Medium carbonation, quite prickly when cold.
O: Not sure what the intent is. Is it an IPA or NEIPA? It was almost a drain pour, but I don't like doing that. There seems to be a much better flavor after it warms a bit. This is one of those times when the "Overall" score could warrant a "?" instead of a point value. I'm "sort of" looking forward to it again.

L - looks the part, a "dense" pale ale. Not see through, not hazy.
S - Nice, though no obvious hibiscus element comes through (which is good?)
T - You get a HINT of the flower (hibiscus) on the tongue, and at the end of the taste, but nicely integrated...
F - Terrific, tastes far heavier than its weight (ABV), leaves an old school IPA taste and impression.
O - a great pale ale collaboration o- must seek out some Industrial Arts (even if from Ontario - gonna be a challenge).
Cheers to this collaboration - it was the most interesting 2Roads beer at a recent, local tapping here in Colorado Springs.

On tap at Conley's when Hinson visited. Enjoyable! Not crazy hazy, but decently fruity IPA. More reddish color than expected, guess that's hibiscus?

Tall can....packaged on 8-25-18

Nice soft peach hue to the clouded NEIPA pour....rocky cap left behind, leaves some thicker strands of larger pebble froth.

Fruited up sniff, with melon and lime notes.

Delicious creation from the chief....more lime, pineapple, melon all abounding in this fresh and flavorful brew...great drinking stuff....go get some.

Poured into a tall tulip.
The appearance was a rugged hazy burnt orange/copper color with a thin cap of a white head softly dissipating to leave a light concave lace.
The aroma had some floral sweet hibiscus up front delving into a light citrusy hop note. Light bready malts flow in underneath.
The flavor leans into the floral hibiscus taste revolving around those bready malts. Long bready and hibiscus sweet aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. A floral tackling sweet contour slides over my tongue (almost cloying) but not. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Finish was a bit sticky sweet with a floral sweet dryness.
Overall, interesting as an AIPA and even a New England IPA if we want to lean that way too. Me, maybe again.
