A sub-zero, super fermented, so-called "Brut IPA". Nose is dense, dank tropical forest but the ultra-dry body and low bitterness make it poundable.

Quite possibly the best beer I had in 2019. Crisp and hoppy. Winner!

16ozcan into Nonic Pint
Canned on 8/16/18 (drank on 9/25/18)
Bright clear light blonde with white head
Pine, peaches, nectarines, mango
Dry bitter with subtle stone fruit and again dry finish
Dry and bubbly as advertised
Overall a solid IPA, although I wouldn't have 'known' this is a new style if I hadn't been told.

Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a yellow glossy color with a moderate transparency about it. Some !easy filmy lace appeared.
The aroma had some sweet grass, candied oranges, wax, apple candle and some smooth crisp breadiness.
The flavor melds everything sweetly with a clean biscuity. Sly aftertaste of bitter hop leaf.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Finish was a bit sweet.
Overall, it's a pretty nice beer all around but I'm still trying to find my bearing on this style.

Pours a crystal clear straw color with a foamy, voluminous white head. Fruity, dank tropical aromas dominate the nose.
The taste features the tropical hops, and the crisp mouthfeel makes this feel sessionable, but as you work your way through the pint, the gravitas of this beer becomes apparent. Truly a pleasure to drink.

This one pours a basically completely clear light yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells potently like marijuana and grassiness, with sharp grapefruit, soft orange and pineapple, and a bit of crackery malt.
I think this is the first time I've had a brut IPA, and it's leaving me a bit puzzled. It's bone dry, but also somehow not that bitter. It's grassy, fresh, and lightly citrusy, with a little bit of maltiness.
This is very light bodied, and fairly drinkable, with a good level of carbonation.
This is definitely a peculiar and interesting beer (style).

Look- clear, pale golden color; looks like a pilsner. Fluffy white head and sheets of lacing
Aroma- citrus and dank weed along with a hint of light, grainy malt
Taste- dank weed, citrus, white grape juice and light graininess along with the slightest hint of bitterness in the finish
Feel- light bodied with moderate carbonation and a very dry finish
Overall- Very full flavored IPA that is surprisingly refreshing despite it's 7% ABV

16 oz. can poured into nonic
(packaged on 8/15/18 printed on can label; courtesy of @TongoRad)
L: pale yellow, very light for an IPA, almost clear save for a little bit of sediment on the bottom of the can that snuck in to my glass; topped by thin head of white foam, no taller than about 1/4 inch; surprisingly sticks some off that little head, and it laces a little off a very thin collar
S: grapefruit, peach, super sweet lemonade ... more than anything else a sweet grapefruit bomb
T: muted grapefruit juice -- not overly sweet or bitter with all of the flavors in a middle level range; there's a light biscuit malt sweetness that grows a bit as it warms, but that sweetness gets shut down very quickly by an earthy/citrus peel flavor; very interesting mix, similar to the average grapefruit bomb American IPA but with everything dialed down just a hair; the aftertaste does get bitter, very earthy, orange or grapefruit peel
F: looks on the softer side as you pour it, but it's plenty carbonated ... bubbly and crisp at times, a full middleweight with a nice ale slickness; the little prickly bubbles on the finish of each swallow reminds me of a very fresh cask ale ... very, very enjoyable
O: Week 104 fits the style almost perfectly; I've had IPAs that could live in the "Brut IPA" category, but there's no question about this one ... quite dry yet not overly bitter or earthy, a hard mix to pull off but Week 104 nails it; very, very nice beer and one I would buy in a heartbeat if it lived in my part of the world

Canned on 8/16/18; consumed on 9/15/18, making this one just about a month old.
A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is crystal clear, bright, glowing goldenrod yellow with a small white head on top.
S: Very floral, fruity and sweet. Modest grainy malt. Tropical fruit. Touch of pine needles.
T: First impression: "clean." Not a ton of IPA flavor at first - seems more like a Session IPA both in feel and flavor, which can be dangerous at 7% ABV. After a couple sips, however, I get the hops: ripe melon, tropical fruit, white grapes, green apple skins, lemon, and a touch of grass. Heat from the ABV is not noted at all on the palate, but is felt in the belly right away.
M: Carbonation is quite active but fine-bubbled, modestly prickly. Call it light-to-medium in heft, though that may be more based on the impression I get from the looks of this rather than the actual feel.
O: Interesting. Drinks in some ways like a Noble-hopped pilsner, in others more like a dry, sparkling white wine. Supposedly the "next big thing" in IPAs. I suppose we shall see, but kudos to Industrial Arts for trying something different - and doing a nice job with it.
