16oz can into Nonic Pint
Canned on 9/6/18
Pours dark gold with thin nitro head
Dank, pine, Orange creamsicles, peach
Sweet creamy caramel malt, grapefruit pith, candied citrus, dry piney finish
Creamy nitro feel with the slightest tingle
Overall once you get 'past' the nitro this is a solidly crafted brew

On draught at the brewery. Pint pour. It pours a slightly cloudy, golden-amber color with a creamy, bright white head and lacing. The nose features tart lemon, lime, sweet malt, and floral hops. This is a throwback style IPA and the taste opens malty and bitter. There's little fruit presence. The malt bill offers some sweetness but the Centennial hops are decidedly bitter. It's on nitro so the mouth feel is plush and creamy. The carbonation is subdued and the 6.2% ABV is not distracting. Overall, Revisionist History is the antidote to fruit bomb IPAs. It's malty, bitter, and thoroughly enjoyable.
