Collaboration with Thin Man Brewery and Belt Line Brewery
Norwegian-style IPA! This was a fun one for us, we got to play around with some fast-moving Norwegian farmhouse yeast to add bright fruity notes and doubled up on flavor with a BRAND NEW hop variety called Lotus that pulls in serious muscat grape and lychee notes. On top of it all, we did it with our upstate buds Thin Man Brewery and Belt Line Brewery.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a totally opaque dirty gold color with a fluffy, bright white cap and a thin, creamy sheen of like-colored lacing. It's a very attractive pour. The smell is hard to describe but there is subdued lemon and lite floral hops. The taste opens with tart lemon and grapefruit, with a crackery malt base. There is a hint of white wine and just a touch of caramel/vanilla sweetness. I'm not familiar with Lotus hops but the ale is not very bitter. On the contrary, it's very refreshing, crisp and clean. Very tasty. The feel is super crisp with lively carbonation and, if anything, it drinks above its 6.5% ABV. Overall, I like this beer a lot even if I cannot pronounce its name. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It's a simple IPA but it packs a lot of flavor and is fun to drink.
