Collaboration with Kings County Brewers Collective

This collab with KCBC is a silky, small IPA with waves of Simcoe and Mosaic washing over it. At 3.9% ABV, we plan on sipping on this quencher as we put on the final preparations for LABFest this weekend!

Very cloudy, sallow looking, dark straw/white gold with a finger of white foam that too soon is a bare cap and bits of ring.

Excellent tropical aroma featuring grapefruit and mango with some crisp grain and pithy bitter also players.

Very bitter, kind of obliterates the other flavors in a pithy almost acrid assault. Worse, it builds so palate never acclimates. Those who enjoy the palate scraping of excessive boil hops may be the target audience.

Watery, low carb., not refreshing, with an aspirin finish.

Kept wanting to like this, but it is an unbalanced and unsatisfying mess. Not recommended

Served on tap in a 10 oz (296 ml) nonic style glass at the Industrial Arts Brewing Company.
A: Pours a very hazy/cloudy, yellow color with a no more than one finger, white head, low retention and little lacing.
S: Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, pine, and maybe a touch of unprocessed grains.
T: Semidry. The palate follows the nose. Modest bitterness.
M: Light bodied with light carbonation.
O: Certainly drinkable and very much in keeping with other IABC offerings.
