In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we've canned up some of the BiB from last summer that we held back and aged in bourbon barrels.

poured into a tulip/snifter style glass.
L: 3.25 Fast disappearing light tan head. Murky dark brown when held up to the light. Lots of carbonation evident. Not exactly what you look for in a good Imperial Stout, but looks can be deceiving.
S: 4.75 Seductively complex. Vanilla. Bourbon. Sweet chocolate. Roasted coffee.
T: 4.75. Damn good. The bourbon barrel characteristics are right there. Charry oak. Hint of Vanilla. Slight touch of booze. Sweet cacao. Roasted coffee on the back end.
F: 3.25 This is a thin BBA Stout. It was evident in the appearance and the mouthfeel follows. Lots of carbonation prevents it from coating your mouth in a way other Imperial Stouts tend to do.
O: 4. This is a revered style of beer that IA doesn't have much experience with. Despite that, it is very good.
