A: Bright orange coloring with a faint hazy factor. Fast moving macro-effervesce moves within building upon an antique white head that was thick and frumpy like mashed potatoes. There was a good smothering of lace left behind on the vessel walls with a near complete band.
S: The nose was tart, lemonade-citrus, perfect for the hot summer time weather, with dashes of fresh lime and raw grapefruit. The delivery was soft and smooth with some lemon on the fade. Again like a country time alcohol lemonade treat.
T: The flavor was tart lemonade with some sweet lime flair. Bright citrus and grapefruit builds on the light summertime ale notion. Tropical fruit shows with some flashes of kiwi and a touch of fresh oranges. A decent level of strength, clean malting and pretty consistent from start to swallow.
M: Soft tingly carbonation feel,, yeasty lime layering, with a strong fresh grain base. Slick feel.
O: Overall a nice flair of lime and country time tropical hops, is yeasty with a good consistency throughout.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.25. PKG 02/02/22, so this is 11 months and one week old.
Look: Very pale and clear with lots of effervescent bubbles rising up the glass. One finger of a frothy and rocky off-white head that seems to be sticking around for a while. I was expecting this to be darker but that's fine; I won't judge the beer solely by its appearance.
Smell: Nice floral aromas of honey and herbs along with sweet cereal grains. I get like a white grape/white grape must aroma also. Faint licorice/anise aroma. I don't think that I would ever guess that this is a Maibock from the appearance or aroma. Nevertheless, it smells nice.
Taste: It is very crushable. Now I can see how this does taste according to style as a Maibock. Up front, it is light and a bit sweet and has a clean malt-forward flavor with some honey and herbs. The beer finishes crisply with a mild to moderate bitterness with a slightly chewy mouthfeel. The beer finishes with earthy, grassy notes (Noble hops?) and a definite herbal/spice presence (anise, clove). Even though it is quite malty up front, it finishes relatively dry and it is good that it has a good amount of hops and bitterness to balance the malt-forwardness of this beer.
Feel: It has a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Nicely carbonated.
Overall: This is my second of the Industrial Arts Landscape Series. The Autumn Landscape Festbier was excellent. This is by far the palest Maibock I have ever had (not that I have had so many or even get the opportunity to do so). Most of us are familiar with Rogue Dead Guy Ale, and I think it is fair to say that this is a very different beer than that one. I would say that this is, to me, much reminiscent of a pale German Festbier such as Weihenstephaner or Paulaner than Rogue Dead Guy. The mouthfeel is very impressive - it's super smooth and creamy, very enjoyable. Even though this beer is not so fresh, it has held up surprisingly well.
Note: My 350th beer review!

Very pretty with great clarity and a thick white head. Complex flavors with herbal hops and bready malt, pleasantly bitter and a tiny bit tart on the swallow. Smooth and easy to drink.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high dense white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of herbal hops are present in the nose. As the beer begins to warm up, the smell becomes maltier and also has some hints of honey.
T: The taste has flavors of herbal hops with notes of toasted malts and hints of honey. The herbal flavors linger into the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer has an interesting contrast between the malts and hops.

Canned on Groundhog day.
L: 4. Brilliant clarity with a liquid gold body. Moderate carbonation and a lingering head.
S: 4. Fresh grains. Floral hops. Maybe some mint.
T: 3. Sadly there's some off flavoring here. Rubbing alcohol. Disappointing, but If you can get past that it has good bock notes. Bready malt. Spicy, herbal hops.
F: 3.5. Thin to medium mouthfeel.
O: 3.5. The taste is quite disappointing. I hope its not an issue with the entire batch. Otherwise not an *awful* craft lager
